Why it matters

Family stress usually starts as something small left unfinished.

Not every issue needs a serious talk. But when small things are never named, they become tension, forgotten tasks, rushed decisions, and the same conversations again next week.

1

Tasks live in someone's head

One person remembers the doctor visit, groceries, kindergarten notes, bills, and gifts — until something gets missed.

2

Small tension waits too long

You postpone the conversation because everyone is tired. By the time it comes out, it feels bigger than it needed to be.

3

Decisions happen in a rush

Purchases, weekend plans, chores, and child routines are decided between messages instead of in one calm place.

The OurWeek idea

Not another to-do app. A shared rhythm for the home.

OurWeek gives your family a simple path: reflect privately, choose what matters, talk through one week, and leave with small agreements you can actually keep.

"What did we forget to discuss?"
"Who is responsible for this?"
"What should we change next week?"

Designed for maintenance, not crisis management.

Use it when life is mostly okay, but the same topics keep returning: home tasks, money, parenting decisions, plans, emotional distance, or everyday coordination.

Start with what went well, not with blame.
Keep each meeting focused on the current week.
Turn talk into agreements, tasks, and reminders.
Build a searchable history of family decisions.
How it works

A short weekly meeting with a clear beginning and end.

First, make space to reflect. Then capture the few decisions that will make the next week easier—and review them together before you finish.

  1. 02

Turn talk into clear next steps.

Capture only what will help next week, with a responsible person and a date when it matters.

OurWeek's Tasks meeting step with a dentist appointment and Thursday pickup assigned as shared follow-ups.
  2. 03

    Leave with a shared plan.

Review the tasks and agreements together, so everyone leaves with the same view of what happens next.

Good fit

For families who want to talk before things pile up.

You want one calm place for weekly planning and agreements.
You have repeated small tensions around tasks, child routines, money, or plans.
You want a habit that takes 15–25 minutes, not another app to manage all day.
Not the right fit

Not therapy and not a crisis tool.

OurWeek is not a replacement for professional help, therapy, legal, financial, or medical advice.
It is not designed for immediate danger, severe crisis, or situations where safety is at risk.
It works best when at least one person is ready to protect a short weekly conversation.
FAQ

Questions before you try OurWeek?

The product is intentionally focused: one weekly family meeting, clear agreements, useful reminders, and a history you can return to.

How long does one meeting take?

Most meetings should take 15–25 minutes. The goal is not to discuss everything perfectly, but to choose what matters and leave with clear next steps.

Is OurWeek only for couples?

No. It works for couples, parents, and families who want a calm weekly rhythm for tasks, decisions, routines, plans, and small emotional check-ins.

What do Premium users get?

Premium adds AI meeting summaries, extra meeting templates, private notes, Google Calendar sync, and export. The Free plan already includes basic weekly meetings, tasks and agreements, the default meeting template, meeting history, and unfinished agreement reminders.

Are private notes visible to everyone?

No. Private notes should stay private to the person who wrote them. Shared agreements, tasks, and meeting summaries are the parts meant for the family.

Is AI reading all our family conversations?

No. AI summaries are optional. When you request one, OurWeek sends selected shared meeting notes, tasks, agreements, and participant names to OpenAI. Private notes are excluded, and you can choose not to generate a summary.

Can we export our history?

Yes, export is part of Premium. It is useful for families who want to keep decisions, agreements, and summaries outside the app.
